1. Material definition and characteristics

Basic composition

Made of short polypropylene (PP) fibers reinforced by needle punching process, it has a three-dimensional porous structure, and is both flexible and high-strength.

2. Key characteristics

• Physical properties: low specific gravity (0.191g/cm³), only 66% of PET; high tensile strength (longitudinal ≥4.5CN/dt), elongation ≥300%.
• Durability: anti-corrosion, anti-aging, acid and alkali resistant, and can be exposed to ultraviolet light for a long time (some products are treated with TiO₂ impregnation to enhance anti-ultraviolet performance).
• Functional characteristics: good water permeability, which can realize the free flow of water/air, while isolating soil particles and preventing the loss of structural layers.
