TX150 TX160 PP Plastic Geomalla Triaxial Geogrid Used In Road Reinforcement Construction
PP Traxial Geogrid is manufactured from polypropylene, mainly applied in strengthening soft
ground of highway, railway, slope protecting projects, airfields etc.It can increase stability and
loading capacity of fundus, prolong the project life.
Definition and structural features
1. Three-dimensional reinforced structure
The three-way grid is a triangular grid structure made of high molecular polymers such as polypropylene (PP) through extrusion, punching, and multi-directional stretching (0°, 30°, 90° or longitudinal/lateral/Z direction) processes. Its rib section is rectangular, the inner hole is an equilateral triangle, and the outer contour is a regular hexagon, achieving a three-dimensional reinforcement effect.
2. Mechanical advantages
Key performance advantages
1. Improved engineering stability
2. Durability and adaptability
3. Economic benefits
Typical application scenarios
Field | Specific scenarios | Function |
Traffic Engineering | Highway/railway roadbed, airport runway, port terminal | Increased load-bearing capacity, reduced rutting and cracking |
Water Conservancy Project | Dams, river bank protection, cofferdams | Dams, river bank protection, cofferdams |
Environmental Engineering | Landfill anti-seepage, mine tailings pond reinforcement | Cooperate with geomembrane to prevent seepage and control settlement |
Special geological treatment | Overlapping of new and old roadbeds, high slopes, and wind-blown sand roadbeds | Solve the settlement difference and improve the overall stability |
Subgrade preparation
For roadbed where construction machinery cannot pass safely:
The three-axis geogrid shall be laid directly to the site to remove major projections such as rock, stumps and shrub piles, and fill local depressions and depressions with approved fillings, but retain the vegetation and topsoil covering the site.
Lay out the triaxial geogrid
Heavy gloves should be worn when handling the three-axis geogrid.
The three-axis geogrids can be laid either parallel to the road center line or horizontally on the roadbed.
If the geotextile partition is used with the triaxial geogrid, the triaxial geogrid
Must be laid over the geotextile (so that the laid filler can interlock with the pores of the triaxial geogriad).
lap
The lap width between the adjacent three-axis geogroidges depends on the grading and thickness of the packing
The stiffness of the roadbed. The minimum lap width shall be 300 mm and the maximum lap width shall usually be
600 mm, or as specified in the contract documents.
Llap must be fixed and maintained during filling. It is common practice to pile small piles of granular filling at the junction before the main filling operation begins.
Granular packing
The graded aggregate filler is suitable for unbonded granular packing.
We offer a variety of triaxial geogids with different apersizes to ensure
Compatibility between aggregate and geogrid resulting enabling efficient interlocking.
