Polyester Geogrid known as PET Grid is woven by high strength polymer yarns as per desired mesh sizes and strength from 20kN/m to 800kN/m(Biaxial type), 40-25kN/m to 600-400kN/m(Uniaxial type). Woven PET Geogrid is created through interlacing, usually at right angles, two or more yarns or filaments. Exterior of PET Grid is coated with polymer or nontoxic substance material for UV, acid and alkali resistance and prevents the bio-decomposition.
PET Grid is widely introduced to the various fields of civil engineering, transportation engineering, and environment issues. The reinforced steep slopes, reinforced retaining earth walls, reinforced embankments, reinforced abutments and piers are typical applications where geogrids are used. The resulting grid structure possesses large openings that enhance interaction with filling material.

Uses of polyester geogrid:
1. Polyester geogrid is used for reinforcement of soft soil roadbeds of various roads such as highways, railways, and municipal roads. It can effectively improve the strength of the roadbed and delay the reflection cracks of the road.
2. Reinforcement and isolation of dams and rivers in water conservancy projects, reinforcement of soft soil foundations, enhancement of their protection capabilities, and improvement of the bearing capacity and stability of the foundation.
3. Polyester geogrid is used for reinforcement of embankment slopes and retaining walls to enhance overall strength, and reinforcement of soft soil foundations of highways, railways, water conservancy, etc.
4. Polyester geogrid is used for railway ballast protection: due to train vibration and wind and rain, ballast is lost. Geogrid is used to wrap the ballast to prevent ballast loss and improve the stability of the roadbed;
5. Polyester geogrid is used for railway retaining wall: Geogrid is used to strengthen the retaining wall beside the railway, such as the platform and cargo platform in the railway station, which can extend the service life and reduce maintenance costs;
6. Polyester geogrid is used for reinforced retaining wall: laying geogrid beside the highway and in the vertical retaining wall can improve the bearing capacity of the retaining wall;
7. The foundation of the bridge abutment is generally easy to sink downward and the phenomenon of jumping occurs. Laying geogrid under the foundation of the bridge abutment can improve the bearing capacity and stabilize the bridge abutment.
