Biaxial plastic grid is made of high molecular polymer through extrusion, plate forming, punching process and then longitudinal and transverse stretching. This material has great tensile strength in both longitudinal and transverse directions. This structure can also provide an ideal interlocking system for more effective force bearing and diffusion in the soil, which is suitable for large-area permanent load-bearing foundation reinforcement.
During the manufacturing of biaxial plastic geogrid, the polymer polymer will rearrange and orient itself during the heating and stretching process, which strengthens the connection between molecular chains and achieves the purpose of improving its strength. Its elongation is only 10% to 15% of the original plate. If anti-aging materials such as carbon black are added to the geogrid, it can have better durability such as acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance and anti-aging.

Plastic Biaxial Geogrid Uses:
Plastic biaxial geogrid is suitable for various dam and roadbed reinforcement, slope protection, tunnel wall reinforcement, large airports, parking lots, dock cargo yards and other permanent load-bearing foundation reinforcement.

Construction method of plastic biaxial BX grid:
When plastic biaxial grid is used for roadbed and pavement, dig the base bed, set the sand cushion layer
(height difference is not more than 10cm), roll it into a platform, lay the grid, the longitudinal axis should be consistent with
the main force direction, overlap 15-20cm longitudinally and 10cm horizontally, tie the overlap with plastic tape, and fix it
to the ground with U-shaped nails every 1.5-2m on the laid grid. The laid geogrid should be backfilled with soil in time,
and the number of laid geogrid layers depends on the technical requirements.
