Product Description

Road Pavement Separates Subsoil Aggregate Layers Polypropylene (PP) Nonwoven Geotextile 700g

It can also be called white non-woven fabric. It features corrosion resistance, tensile strength, filterability and strong water permeability.

It is often used for road paving during road construction to protect and reinforce the ground.

It is an isolation material for soil layer separation. It can prevent soil erosion, soil erosion and landslides.

It can be used as an excellent material for heat preservation, moisture retention, frost and frost prevention in agriculture and gardens.

At present, white geotextiles are widely used in civil engineering projects such as water conservancy, power, mines, highways and railways. It is an important material in construction projects.

How should polypropylene geotextiles be maintained during use?

The key to maintaining polypropylene geotextiles is to "avoid damage, isolate factors that cause aging, and perform regular monitoring" to extend their service life.

Construction Period Maintenance (Critical Prevention Phase)

  1. Avoid contact with sharp objects. Before laying, clear the site of debris such as rocks, rebar, and glass to prevent puncture of the geotextile.
  2. Construction machinery (such as excavators and rollers) should be used with gentle pressure. Do not drag heavy equipment over the geotextile. Lay down wooden planks as necessary to distribute the pressure.
  3. After laying, promptly cover with a protective layer (soil, gravel, geomembrane, etc.). Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun; exposure should not exceed 48 hours.
  4. Joints must be handled according to specifications (thermal bonding, sewing, or overlapping), and the strength of the joints must be checked to prevent leakage or tearing later.

Operation Period Maintenance (Long-Term Monitoring and Treatment)

  1. Regularly inspect the surface covering. If any collapse or loss occurs, refill it promptly to prevent exposure or uneven load on the geotextile. During water conservancy projects, regularly clean silt and debris around the geotextile to prevent clogging and impairing permeability.
  2. Avoid stacking heavy objects or sharp instruments in the geotextile laying area, and prohibit unauthorized excavation or puncture.
  3. When using the geotextile in chemical environments or saline-alkali soils, regularly inspect the integrity of the geotextile. If any damage or deterioration is detected, promptly patch or replace the affected area.

Maintenance Priorities for Special Scenarios

  1. Highway/Railway Roadbed: Monitor pavement subsidence. If cracks occur, promptly inspect the geotextile for damage and, if necessary, reinforce it with grouting.
  2. Landfills: Monitor leachate collection systems to prevent direct contact of chemical wastewater with unmodified geotextiles, and regularly inspect the integrity of the anti-seepage layer.
  3. Underwater Projects: Use diving or remote sensing to promptly remove entangled floating objects to prevent deformation of the geotextile.
