Fiberglass Geogrid 100 100 Key Characteristics and Advantages:


High Tensile Strength: With 100 kN/m, it can withstand significant pulling forces,

distributing loads over a wider area.

 

Low Creep: Fiberglass geogrids exhibit very little elongation or "creep" under constant long-term load,

which is critical for the long-term stability of structures.

 

Excellent Durability: It is inert to soil chemicals, alkalis, and UV radiation (when properly coated), ensuring a long design life.

 

Biaxial Reinforcement:

The equal strength in both directions makes it ideal for stabilizing weak subgrades and

reinforcing base courses where loads come from multiple directions.

 

 

What Means Fiberglass Geogrid Tensile Strength 100KN/M ?

 

  • 100-100: This is the most important part of the specification.

It denotes the minimum ultimate tensile strength per unit width in the machine direction (MD)

and cross-machine direction (CMD), measured in kN/m (kiloNewtons per meter).

 

  • The first 100 means it has a minimum ultimate tensile strength of 100 kN/m in its longitudinal direction (along the roll length).

 

  • The second 100 means it has a minimum ultimate tensile strength of 100 kN/m in its transverse direction (across the roll width).
