Yixing Shenzhou Geosynthetics Coated PVC Polyester geogrid :

 

Manufacturing Process The typical process is as follows:

 

Yarn Production: High-tenacity polyester yarns are produced.

 

Weaving/Knitting: The yarns are woven or knitted into a grid-like structure.

 

Coating: The open grid fabric is passed through a bath of molten PVC or PVC paste,

fully encapsulating each individual yarn.

 

Heat Setting: The coated grid is passed through an oven that cures and sets the PVC coating,

ensuring a strong bond to the polyester core.

 

Aperture Formation: The process is controlled to maintain the open apertures (holes) of the grid,

which are essential for soil interlock.

The Coating: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Function: Protects the core and enhances performance.

 

 

Key Properties and Benefits of the Coating PVC Polyester Geogrid:

 

Mechanical Protection:

The PVC coating shields the sensitive polyester filaments from abrasion, puncture,

and cutting during installation and from sharp rocks in the soil over the long term.

 

Ultraviolet (UV) Resistance:

PVC provides excellent protection against solar radiation, preventing degradation of

the polyester while the geogrid is stored on site or during installation.

 

Chemical Protection:

It creates a barrier that protects the polyester from a range of chemical attacks,
